Cuteness overload
Twice is best known for their consistent use of “cute” concepts, which was aided by the group’s bubblegum pop sound, which was a departure from the usual retro style of music heard in their predecessor labelmates and fellow girl groups Wonder Girls and Miss A. The group had developed a signature “color pop” sonic style described as a mix of rock, R&B, and hip hop with notable hooks in their music.
